HL Deb 24 March 1884 vol 286 c560
LORD BALFOUR

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies, When the second part of the Report of the Royal Commission on the Windward Islands and the Islands of Grenada, St. Vincent, St. Lucia, and Tobago will be in the hands of Members of the House? He believed the first part of the Report with reference to Jamaica had been issued for some time; but the latter part, which had not been issued, would be looked forward to with some anxiety.

THE EARL OF DERBY

, in reply, said, that he could not give a definite answer at present, as some of the appendices to the Report were somewhat voluminous. He had not seen thorn, but had made inquiries, and he believed they were now being printed. He hoped the Report would be in their Lordships' hands before they separated for the Easter holidays.
