§ EARL DE LA WARRI wish to ask a Question of which I have given the noble Lord opposite (Lord Carrington) private Notice—namely, whether any additional information has been received by the Local Government Board with respect to mortality from cholera in France?
§ LORD CARRINGTONThe only information I can give is a telegram which we have received, and which states that there were 24 deaths yesterday at Marseilles. I am unable to say whether or not they are all from cholera. In Toulon, by another telegram, I find 375 there were 14 deaths yesterday, all of them from cholera.
