asked the First Lord of the Admiralty, Whether the Lords Commissioners, in order to obtain prompt and effectual security for shipping in the neighbourhood of the "Hen and Chickens" Rock, coast of Orkney, will order the erection of a perch on the reef by the district surveying officer, as was done in the Easdaile Channel, August 1848?
