§ Message from the Commons, That they have appointed a Committee, to consist of five Members, to join with a Committee of their Lordships to inquire whether it is expedient that Parliamentary sanction should be given to a sub marine communication between England and France; and to consider whether any or what conditions should be imposed by Parliament in the event of such communication being sanctioned; and to request that their Lordships will be pleased to appoint an equal number of Lords to be joined with the Members of that House.
