Order of the Day for the Second Beading read.

THE EARL OF POWIS,

in moving that the Bill be now read 2a said, its object was to provide that four-sevenths of the income of the rectory should be enjoyed by the Regius Professor of Divinity at Cambridge, while three-sevenths should be allotted to the clergyman who was in charge of the parish, subject to the obligation to maintain two curates.
