§ THE LORD CHANCELLOR moved the first reading of a Bill to consolidate and amend the Acts relating to the Property of Married Women. The noble and learned Lord said, the subject had been carefully considered by a Select Committee of the other House of Parliament, which had sat on the subject last Session; and this Bill, with some modifications, was the result of their deliberations.
