HL Deb 27 April 1882 vol 268 c1555

Order of the Day for the Third Reading read.

Moved, "That the Bill be now read 3a."—(The Earl of Morley.)

THE EARL OF LONGFORD

said, he wished, before the Bill was disposed of, to be allowed to express a hope as to whether a better system of distribution of Army prize money—if ever such an occurrence should again take place—could not be instituted by the authorities at the War Office. He might point out that certain Army prize money had been in dispute for something like 20 years, and he hoped that his noble Friend would give attention to the subject.

Motion agreed to; Bill read 3a accordingly, and passed.
