Order of the Day for the Second Beading read.

THE LORD CHANCELLOR

, in moving that the Bill be now read a second time, said, it contained exactly the same provisions as the Bill which was sent to the Commons on the same subject last year; and he would move the re-appointment of, as far as possible, the same Committee next week, to which he would move that the Bill should be referred.

Moved, "That the Bill be now read 2a."—(The Lord Chancellor.)

Motion agreed to; Bill read 2a accordingly; and referred to a Select Committee.
