Order of the Day for the Second Reading, read.

THE EARL OF DALHOUSIE,

in moving that the Bill be now read a second time, said, it contained a clause dealing with the Law of Bastardy, and to enable the English and Scotch decrees of bastardy and aliment to be effective in either country.
