HL Deb 14 June 1881 vol 262 c453
EARL FORTESCUE

said, that, at the request of his noble Friend the Under Secretary of State for War, he would postpone for the present putting the Questions about conveyance for the Troops and Constabulary in Ireland, of which he had given Notice. He would add that the date, April 8, in that Notice had been printed by mistake, instead of May 13, the day on which he called the attention of the House to the large powers of impressment of horses and conveyances by land and water given to the Irish Executive by the Army Discipline Act.
