Leave given to Lords to sign the protest against the passing of the Bill until the rising of the House To-morrow.

THE EARL OF REDESDALE (CHAIRMAN of COMMITTEES)

said, that he had prepared a Protest against the passing of this Bill; and, as would be seen from the accompanying Order, it would be open for any Peer to sign it before the Prorogation of Parliament.
