My Lords, it may be convenient I should state to your Lordships that a telegram has been received at the Colonial Office to-day from the Officer administering the Government of the Mauritius. It is dated March 3, and in these terms— Tamar, from Ceylon, with reinforcements for Natal, arrived this morning. She leaves at daylight to-morrow with two officers 60 men Royal Artillery and mountain guns from this garrison, in addition to troops brought from Ceylon.
