HL Deb 11 March 1879 vol 244 c625
THE EARL OF WHARNCLIFFE

asked, When the Report of the Lords' Committee on Intemperance, nominated on the 14th of February last, will be laid on the Table? There had, he said, been a general feeling among the Licensed Victuallers that they laboured under great disadvantages, owing to grocers' licences.

LORD ABERDARE

, in the absence of the noble Duke the Chairman of the Committee, said, that the Committee met for the last time yesterday. The Report was practically finished, and no reason existed why it should not be in the hands of noble Lords next week.

House adjourned at half past Six o'clock, to Thursday next, a quarter before Five o'clock.
