Order of the Day for the Second Reading, read.

THE LORD CHANCELLOR

, in moving that the Bill be now read 2a (according to Order), said, he proposed that this and the Assizes Bill should be considered in a Committee of the Whole House; and that the County Courts Bill, which stood for the second reading for this evening, should be referred to a Select Committtee.

LORD SELBORNE

expressed his concurrence in the course proposed by the noble and learned Lord.
