asked, Whether his noble Friend the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs had any information which would enable him to say that the evacuation of Eastern Roumelia by the Russians would be effected by the 3rd of August—the day stipulated in the Treaty?

, in reply, said, that two or three days ago he received, information from our Vice Consul at Burgas that the last Russian soldier had left the Province, and that the Province was entirely evacuated by the Russians.
