THE LORD CHANCELLOR

, in moving that the Bill be now read the second time, said, it was simply meant to remedy a slight defect in the Act, so as to enable certain Judges to go on Circuit, who, under the Act, could not have done so.

Motion agreed to; Bill read 2a accordingly, and committed to a Committee of the Whole House To-morrow.
