HL Deb 14 March 1876 vol 227 c1946

Bill read the third time (according to Order).

LORD REDESDALE

congratulated their Lordships on the fact that the Bill had reached this stage without opposition. Looking back to the legislation of 1873 and to what occurred in 1874 and 1875 in reference to this subject, he thought that the change of opinion which had led to this Bill was very complimentary to the manner in which their Lordships had exercised Appellate Jurisdiction.

Amendments made; Bill passed, and sent to the Commons.
