§ THE EARL OF DERBYreplied that the Correspondence in question could not be produced at present, except in a partial and incomplete form, and that it would, therefore, be more convenient and more for the public interest to defer the publication. If, however, the negotiations should continue much longer he would in the course of the present Session, although no definite conclusion might have been reached, place on the Table of the House such of the Papers as it would then be possible for him to present.
