THE LORD STEWARD (Earl BEAU-CHAMP)

reported Her Majesty's Answer to the Address, as follows:— MY LORDS, I SINCERELY thank you for your loyal and dutiful Address. It is particularly gratifying to me to be assured that you participate in My feelings on the Marriage of the Duke of Edinburgh, and in My reliance that by God's Messing this event may prove a source of happiness to Myself, and an additional bond of union between My country and Russia. I do not doubt that the measures which will be submitted to you will receive attentive consideration, and you may rely with confidence on My cordial co-operation in every effort to promote the welfare of My people.
