PRAYERS.

The Lord Chancellor—Singly, in the first place, took and subscribed the Oath at the Table.

Certificate of the Election of Sixteen Representative Peers for Scotland—Delivered, and read as follows:—

ROLL OF THE LORDS—Garter King of Arms attending, delivered at the Table (in the usual Manner) a List of the Lords Temporal in the First Session of the Twenty-first Parliament of the United Kingdom: The same was ordered to he on the Table.

The Lord Chancellor acquainted the House, That the Clerk of the Parliaments had received (by post) from the Lord Clerk Register of Scotland, the minutes of the mooting hold on the 18th ultimo of the Peers of Scotland for the election of their representatives to sit and vote in the ensuing Parliament of the United Kingdom; and also, Return by the Lord Clerk Register of Scotland concerning Titles of Peerages called at the said meeting, in right of which respectively no vote had been received and counted for fifty years last past as at the date of said meeting: The same was ordered to he on the Table.
