HL Deb 25 February 1869 vol 194 c284
VISCOUNT LIFFORD

asked, Whether it was the intention of the Government to propose the extension of the Contagious Diseases Act, 1866? He hoped they would have the courage to apply the Act to the City of London.

THE EARL OF MORLEY

replied, that the subject had been under the consideration of the Home Office, and that a Bill would shortly be introduced, based on the recommendations of the Select Committee which inquired into the subject last year.
