HL Deb 15 December 1868 vol 194 c15
EARL GEANVILLE

I may state to your Lordships that, the late Government having resigned, Her Majesty commissioned Mr. Gladstone to form a Government, which he has succeeded in doing. Under these circumstances I venture to think that your Lordships will not deem it unreasonable that I should move the Adjournment of the House to Thursday, the 11th. of February.

Motion agreed to.

House adjourned at Three o'clock, to Thursday the 11th of February next, Two o'clock.
