HL Deb 30 June 1864 vol 176 c480

Moved, That the Bill be now read 2a.

LORD TAUNTON

noticed that it occupied a similar position to the Brokers Bonds Bill, which had been postponed in consequence of its being introduced as a Private Bill instead of a Public one.

LORD REDESDALE

admitted the force of the objection, and would not oppose the postponement of the Order.

Further Debate, and Second Reading, put off to Monday next.
