To acquaint this House, That they have directed the Committee appointed by them "to consider the best Method of dealing with the Railway Schemes proposed to be sanctioned within the Limits of the Metropolis by Bills to be introduced in the present Session, and to report their Opinion whether any, and, if any, what Schemes should not be proceeded with during the present Session," to meet the Committee appointed by this House in the Painted Chamber on Monday next, at Half past Three o'Clock, as desired by this House. Ordered, That the said Message do lie on the Table.

Ordered, That the Select Committee appointed by this House to join with the Select Committee appointed by the Commons to consider the Metropolitan Railway Schemes, have Power to agree in the Appointment of a Chairman of such Committee.

House adjourned at a quarter past Five o'clock, to Monday next, Eleven o'clock.
