HL Deb 16 March 1858 vol 149 c239

On the question that this Bill be read a second time,

LORD CRANWORTH

objected, on the ground that he had only got a copy of the Bill that day.

LORD ST. LEONARDS

said, as the Bill had been so short a time printed, and as therefore their Lordships had had but little opportunity of considering its provisions, he should be willing to postpone the Motion for the second reading until Monday next.

Second Reading put off to Monday next.
