THE EARL OF ELLENBOROUGH,

referring to the Correspondence which had been presented to the other House of Parliament, moved that there should be laid before their Lordships copies of a letter addressed by himself, as President of the Board of Control, to the Court of Directors, on the 28th of April last, and of a memorandum, written by Sir G. Clerk, Secretary of the India Board, on the subject referred to in that letter.
