HL Deb 13 February 1852 vol 119 c495
LORD BROUGHAM

presented a Bill for the further Amendment of the Law touching Letters Patent for Inventions. His Lordship, who spoke in a scarcely audible tone, was understood to say, that the measure was similar in principle to that which had been under the consideration of Parliament last Session, but that it did not embody the Amendments introduced into the Bill of last year by the House of Commons.

LORD CAMPBELL

I hope my noble and learned Friend retains the clause in the Bill of last year which gives the Courts of Law a power to grant an injunction in case of infringement of patent.

LORD BROUGHAM

Yes, certainly I do.

Bill read 1a.

House adjourned to Monday next.
