The LORD STEWARD OF THE HOUSEHOLD (the MARQUESS of WESTMINSTER)

informed their Lordships that he had waited on Her Majesty on behalf of their Lordships' House to present the Address which their Lordships had adopted in answer to the Speech from the Throne on Tuesday. The Address was I most graciously received by Her Majesty, who returned the following answer to their Lordships:— I thank you for your loyal and dutiful Address. It will at all Times be My earnest Desire to cooperate with you in Measures calculated to promote the Prosperity and Happiness of My People.
