HL Deb 08 February 1850 vol 108 c535
The EARL of ELLENBOROUGH

called the attention of the noble Lord at the head of the department of Woods and Forests to some questions which had recently been addressed to the chairmen and vice-chairmen of all boards of guardians in England and Wales, and the answers to which would bring out in detail the real condition of all classes of the people in this kingdom. He wanted to know whether those answers had yet been received, and if they had, when they would be laid upon the table?

The EARL of CARLISLE

promised to make inquiry on the subject.

House adjourned to Monday next.
