On the Motion that this Bill be read a Third Time,

The EARL of RADNOR

moved the insertion of a clause, the object of which was to limit the operation of the Bill to two years.

The MARQUESS of CLANRICARDE

opposed the Amendment.

Their Lordships divided:—For the Amendment 4; Against it 5: Majority 1.

The Bill read 3a and passed.
