The Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod reported to the House, that the order for taking into custody the Viscount Arbuthnott had been served at Arbuthnott-house, in the county of Kincardine, by the deputy Serjeant-at-Arms, who was then informed that the Viscount Arbuthnott had left the United Kingdom. Ordered—That the said report be referred to the Committee appointed on the 23rd June last, to consider the method of proceeding, in order to bring the Viscount Arbuthnott to trial.
