read the following answer from her Majesty to the Address of the House, voted on Thursday last.

MY Lords,

THIS affectionate and loyal Address gives Me the truest Satisfaction.

I THANK you for it sincerely, as well as for your Congratulations on the Birth of the Prince, my Son, and for the Regard which you express on this Occasion to My Person and Government.

MY WISH is, and ever will be, to promote the Prosperity and Happiness of My faithful People.

Her Majesty's Answer was ordered to be entered on the journals.
