HL Deb 01 October 1841 vol 59 c1065

Messengers from the Commons brought up the Poor-law Commission Continuance Bill, which was read a first time, and ordered to be printed.

The Duke of Wellington

said, that if the House were to sit to-morrow, it would be for the public convenience, as he could then move the second reading of this bill, so that they might go into committee upon it on Monday, with the understanding, that any discussion which noble Lords might wish to go into upon the measure might betaken on going into committee on Monday.

Agreed to.

Adjourned.
