HL Deb 05 August 1836 vol 35 c914

On the motion of the Marquess of Lansdowne, the amendments of the Commons upon the Amendments of the Lords in the Tithe Commutation (England and Wales) Bill were taken into consideration.

Lord Ellenborough

said, that the House of Commons having, in his opinion, treated their Lordships' amendments in this Bill in a spirit of great fairness and conciliation, he was himself very much disposed to accept what amendments they had introduced at once without any objection or discussion on the part of this House.

Commons' amendments agreed to.
