On the Motion of the Earl of Devon a message was sent to the Commons desiring a present conference on the subject of the Amendment made on the Corporation Reform Bill. Commons, assented to the conference, and managers were appointed on behalf of the Lords. The conference was held, and the Earl of Devon reported that the managers of the conference had communicated to the managers on behalf of the Commons the reasons of their Lordships in support of their Amendments of the Corporation Reform Bill.
