The Marquess Wellesley

, as Lord Steward of the Household, stated that he had been commanded to deliver his Majesty's Answer to the Address agreed to in their Lordships' House on the 3rd of June. The Answer was as follows:—

"I have already taken all such measures as appeared to me to be necessary for maintaining the neutrality which I had determined to observe in the contest now carrying on in Portugal."
