presented his Majesty's Answer to their Lordships Address; it was as follows:—

My Lords:—I thank your Lordships, for your loyal and dutiful Address; and I rely with great confidence upon your zealous co-operation in all measures calculated to improve the condition of my subjects, and to maintain the honour and high character of the country. The Address, on the motion of the Duke of Wellington, was ordered to be printed and published.
