HL Deb 27 April 1820 vol 1 c26
Lord Holland

gave notice, that he would take an early opportunity of presenting a petition to the House, affecting in an especial manner the interests of the beneficed clergy. It related, too, very particularly to three right reverend lords if the House. He should be happy to hear from any of the learned prelates, when it would be convenient for them to attend to the subject.

The Bishop of Exeter

said, that any time would be equally convenient to him. Lord Holland accordingly fixed upon to-morrow se'nnight; and their lordships were ordered to be summoned.
