The House proceeded to ballot for the choice of a Committee to examine the Papers referred to in the Prince Regent's Message. The list having been put into the glasses, a committee of scrutiny was appointed, consisting of the earls of Aberdeen, Mulgrave, and Morton, lord Granville, and the bishop of Oxford, who withdrew with the balloting glasses. On their return the earl of Aberdeen reported, that the choice of the House had fallen upon the lord chancellor, the lord president (earl of Harrowby,) the duke of Bedford, the duke of Montrose, earl Fitzwilliam, the earl of Liverpool, the earl of Powis, the earl of St. Germans, viscount Sidmouth, lord Grenville, and lord Redesdale.
