HL Deb 31 May 1808 vol 11 cc719-20

On the report of the Irish glebe house bill being presented, the duke of Norfolk objected to the amendments made in the committee, on the ground that they might endanger the rejection of the bill in the other house. Lord Redesdale thought the amendments essential. After a few observations from the duke of Norfolk in reply, the house divided on the question for agreeing to the amendments: Contents 6; Not-contents 2. Majority 4.—The bill was then passed.
