HL Deb 10 February 1804 vol 1 cc469-70

Mr. Rommilly and Mr. Adam were heard as counsel for the appellants in the appeal from the Court of Session in Scotland, Lady Christiana Graham, against C. Hope Weir, Esq. The farther consideration was delayed till Monday.—Lord Hawkesbury presented a petition from Lieutenant Alexander Home of the royal navy, claiming the Marchmont peerage.—Lord Grenville said, that previous to the recesss he had given notice of his intention to make a motion relative to the issues of bank paper, so far as connected with the safety of the country. He now intimated that it was his intention to submit that question to the consideration of the House on Friday next, and moved that the House be summoned for that day. Ordered.—The House adjourned till Monday.
