§ The LORD CHANCELLOR acquainted the House, That the Clerk of the Parliaments had laid upon the Table the Certificate from the Examiners that the Standing Orders applicable to the following Bill have been complied with;
§ Ministry of Health Provisional Orders (Barry and Scarborough).
§ Also the Certificate that no Standing Orders are applicable to the following Bill:
§ Coquet Fisheries Provisional Order.
§ And also the Certificates that the further Standing Orders applicable to the following Bills have been complied with:
- Torquay and Paignton Traction [H.L.],
- Bristol Corporation (No. 1),
- East Surrey Water,
- Leeds Corporation,
- Metropolitan Railway,
- Rochdale Corporation (No. 1),

§ The same were ordered to lie on the Table.
§ The CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES informed the House, That in pursuance of the powers given him by Standing Order No. 97, he had appointed the Lord Manners as a member of the Select Committee on the said Bills in the place of the Lord Wavertree.
