HC Deb 16 February 1937 vol 320 cc1004-7
Mr. Attlee

Will the Prime Minister tell the House what business it is proposed to take if the Eleven o'Clock Rule is suspended?

The Prime Minister

The Committee stage of the Statutory Salaries [Money] Resolution and the several Government of India and Burma Orders which are on the Paper. We should also like to obtain Orders Nos. 1 to 4, and to deal with the Amendments to the Unemployment Assistance Bill, which is expected to come from another place this evening, and which is a purely drafting Measure.

Motion made, and Question put, That the Proceedings on Government Business be exempted, at this day's Sitting, from the provisions of the Standing Order (Sittings of the House)."—[The Prime Minister.]
