May I ask the Prime Minister what business he proposes to take to-day?

The PRIME MINISTER

We are suspending the Eleven o'Clock Rule to obtain the Committee stage of the Trunk Roads Bill and the Money Resolution relating to the Chairmen of Traffic Commissioners, etc. (Tenure of Office) Bill. We should also like to obtain some of the India and Burma Draft Orders which have recently been before the House, and which are exempted business.

Motion made, and Question put, That the Proceedings on Government Business be exempted, at this day's Sitting, from the provisions of the Standing Order (Sittings of the House).—[The Prime Minister.]
