HC Deb 25 November 1925 vol 188 cc1376-9
Captain BENN

Will the Prime Minister inform the House what Orders he proposes to take to-day?

The PRIME MINISTER

We propose to take the Rating and Valuation Bill. I understand there is a general desire that the Mining Industry (Welfare Fund) Bill —which, I believe, is not opposed—should be taken to-night, and if it is agreeable to the House, we shall take it.

Motion made, and Question put, That the Proceedings on Government Business be exempted, at this clay's Sitting, from the provisions of the Standing Order (Sittings of the House)."—(The Prime Minister.]

The House divided: Ayes. 278: Noes, 122.
