§ 53. Mr. KENYONasked the President of the Board of Trade what countries or dominions, other than Australia, levy duties upon British trade catalogues; and, if there are such, will he state the amount of duty so levied?
Mr. SALDWINAll the British self-governing Dominions and a considerable number of foreign countries levy duties on trade catalogues. The regulations affecting the liability to, and the amount of duty, are somewhat elaborate, but I am having a statement on the subject compiled on the basis of the information available. This will take a little time to prepare, but I will send it to the hon. Member as soon as it is completed.
