TERRELLasked the Prime Minister whether he is aware that there is great unemployment in the fabric glove and other industries in which the Board of Trade Committees have recommended that Part II of the Safeguarding of Industries Act should be applied: that, owing to his absence abroad, no decision of the Government could be arrived at; and whether, in view of the great urgency and importance of the matter, he is now able to announce the intention of the Government as to making an Order in accordance with the provisions of the Statute?

Captain BENNCan the right hon. Gentleman say when this announcement will he made, and whether, if it be in 1409 favour of making Orders, the Orders will he laid before the House before the House disperses for Whitsuntide?
