Mr. HALLSasked the Minister of Health if he will state how many local authorities he has received resolutions from requesting him to extend The Increase of Rent and Mortgage Interest (Restriction) Act, 1920, or to introduce legislation to obtain such power; and whether he intends moving in the matter?
§ Sir A. MONDI have received representations in favour of the extension of 1178 this Act from three local authorities. As the Act has still over 12 months to run, I think it would be premature to take any decision at the present time.
