Motion made, and Question proposed, That a Select Committee be appointed to consider and report whether in fixing the present scales of salaries for teachers in grant-aided schools any undertaking by the Government or Parliament was given or implied that the provisions of the Teachers' Superannuation Act, 1918, should not- be altered while these scales remained in force."—[Colonel Gibbs.]

It being after Eleven of the Clock, and objection being taken to further Proceeding, the Debate stood adjourned.
