HC Deb 17 May 1922 vol 154 c373
Mr. G. LOCKER-LAMPSON

May I ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer when the Finance Bill will be in the hands of hon. Members, seeing that in former years it has always been circulated in the first week, and the time for the Debate is now approaching?

The CHANCELLOR of the EXCHEQUER (Sir Robert Horne)

I hope it will be in the hands of hon. Members early next week.

Mr. LOCKER-LAMPSON

That only gives hon. Members a week to consider it. It has always been circulated earlier.

Sir R. HORNE

I think that a week is the usual time.
